Whenever your Cocoon detects something to 'worry' about, all members of the Cocoon 'household' will receive a notification via their smartphone app.
This notification is just a small snippet of data, so even with GPRS or E, as long as you have some data signal, you'll get a notification come through. Basically, if you can load google on your phone's web browser, you'll be able to get a notification.
When you get an alert, if you don't have 3G or 4G data connectivity enough to open the app and check the video stream to see what is going on at home, Cocoon will continue to record footage of the alert up to 15 minutes. This is labelled 'Missed activity' on your app's timeline.
If there's continued activity that Cocoon is worried about after the initial alert, then Cocoon will create a new alert, and you'll get another notification and so on.
So once you, or another member of the Cocoon 'household', has access to data connectivity (3G/4G or wifi), you can review the alert footage and act accordingly.
These alerts will stay on your timeline to review for 7 days.
