In the event that this process does not work as described in this guide, there are few basic steps that you can take before contacting our Help Team.
New user unable to download Cocoon app from store when accepting invite
- Try downloading the app by going directly to the app store before tapping the link sent to you by the primary user
New user stuck on "Validating your invitation"
- Force close the app, then relaunch from the app icon on your smartphone and if this does not work try the next step
- Delete the app from your smartphone* and request a new invitation from the primary user
*Android 6 and above will also need to clear the app cache in the Cocoon app settings. Just tap 'Storage' and 'Clear Cache' before deleting and requesting a new invite.
