Setting up Multi-Cocoon for the first time
- If you’re new to Cocoon and would like to set up Multi-Cocoons for the first time (or after a reset), you can follow the initial setup as detailed HERE
-
Once you've completed pairing to your first Cocoon, you will be prompted to add another Cocoon using the same pairing method
-
You don't have to set your additional Cocoons up straight away, you can always add them at a later time, just follow the instructions below
Adding a new Cocoon to an existing Cocoon Household
-
Open the Cocoon App and select the menu at the top right
-
Tap "Your Household" and then select "Add a Cocoon"
-
Give your new Cocoon a name to help you identify it - we'd recommend the location, such as 'Kitchen'
-
You'll now be prompted to send WiFi details to Cocoon - as you did when you set your first Cocoon up. Please ensure that your phone is connected to the WiFi network that you would like your Cocoon to connect to (this has to be 2.4GHz or dual band)
-
Please ensure that your phone's volume is set to full, and that it is around 10cm away from your Cocoon when the pairing sound plays - you should see your Cocoon LED's start to blink once it hears the sound and once successful it will update to the latest software
-
You will now see that your Cocoon has been added to your timeline, and that swiping on the "Watch Live" screen, or when watching live
-
or recorded video, you'll be able to rotate through your Multi-Cocoon household
-
Your Cocoon information is seen in the "Your Household" section, where you can check the status, view the serial number, and see/change the name
