Cocoon sets up a geo-fence around your home, which is set at 100m for Android and 150m for iOS - please note that Cocoon will not detect you leaving your home until you have left the geo-fence.
If you are experiencing an issue where Cocoon does not recognise when you leave or enter your home correctly, please ensure that your smartphone has WiFi, mobile data and location services switched on at all times.
You can also ensure that your Cocoon's location is correct in your app by doing the following:
- While in your home, go on your Cocoon app
- Go to “Your Cocoon”
- You should then see a map with a green marker, if you zoom you should see your home. If this marker is not on your home you can do the next step.
- Click the white location marker (this looks a bit light a crosshair) in the bottom right corner of the map - the green marker should then move to over your home.
- Click “Update Location” and this will make sure your Cocoon’s geo-fence is around your home directly.
